BajaSound is pleased to announce the completion of the resource CD that will accompany the educational material associated with the project
"Psicologia Ambiental en Sudcalifornia." Project coordinator, Matilde Cervantes Navarrete describes the work as the discipline and study of the relationship between the
physical environment and the social behaviors and activities of people. The overall theme of the project is conservation of the environment. The material on the CD includes methods for
developing environmental awareness in children, self empowerment tools for activating change from within and other techniques that support the theme that we and the environment are one, such that
if the environment is unhealthy, then so are we. It was a privilege to work on this worthy project. You can learn more about it and listen to some samples from the CD on our
Clients Page.

BajaSound is proud to be working, once again, with Centro Integral Cultura y Desarollo Humano S.A., who is directing the project "Psicologia Ambiental en Sudcalifornia." Our part of the project
will be to record talks and meditations about the environment by professors, doctors and researchers, and then create meditative soundscapes which will enhance the spoken passages and create an
immersive experience intended to help the listener not only to relax, but to reflect on and integrate the material.

BajaSound is very happy that the backing track of the song "Slippery Slope" we produced and contributed to the

was well received, especially by the original recording artist, Jeffery Straker, who was in attendance. We hope this may be the start of
a rewarding musical relationship with the MLS and their musical director, Wilson Fowlie. A video of the performance will be available soon.

DNA stands for Direct Note Access. So what's that? Many would say it is the attainment of a musical
software Holy Grail. So what's that? Imagine you recorded a piano, guitar or any other instrument
that can play more than one note at a time. Now imagine that the instrument and or artist is no
longer available and you discover a wrong note or notes in their performance. Until now,
there was nothing you could do. Celemony's new Melodyne product with DNA lets you alter,
with surgical precision any note in any performance. It really is unbelieveable, but true and the software
was finally released Nov 16, 2009 - and we have it! PS - Make sure you watch the video in HQ mode.

be concerned about, such as VST3 compliance and reduced memory footprint, but there are
also some great new plug-ins, such as vocal rider.

from the P/J combination pickup array. From dub to poppin funk to old school rock and roll and more, you
can dial in a wide range of authentic Fender sounds. We also have a Ibanez 5 string fretless and a Cort
4 string Curbow Funk bass.

BajaSound adds 4 more Universal Audio plug-ins to its VST processing base.
The Roland RE-201 Space Echo In 1973, Roland created the Space Echo system that utilized multiple play heads to create warm, highly adjustable echo effects, which added wonderful tape character and chaos to performances and recordings. The Space Echo can be heard on numerous recordings, from 70’s space rock like Pink Floyd and David Bowie, to countless Reggae and Dub albums, to more recent bands like Portishead and Radiohead. The Precision Multiband The Precision Multiband is a specialized mastering tool that provides five spectral bands of dynamic range control. Compression, Expansion or Gate can be chosen separately for each of the five bands. The Precision Enhancer kHz The Precision Enhancer kHz is a sophisticated tool designed to bring dull or poorly recorded tracks to life and can also be used to minimally massage the middle and upper frequencies of a mix, or drastically alter the presence or dynamics of individual tracks or groups. The Precision Buss Compressor The Precision Buss Compressor is a dual-VCA-type dynamic processor that yields modern, transparent gain reduction characteristics. It is specifically designed to “glue” mix elements together for that cohesive and polished sound typical of master section console compressors. |
